Trying to think of original halloween costumes… that people will actually get. I just want an amazing costume idea that takes little/no effort and no one else could ever think of. Is that too much to ask for

Bought six Archie comics for sixty cents today YEAHH.
Also on one of them, Archie, Betty, Ron and Jughead have beards and tattoos tastefully drawn on them. 

Father’s Day dinner with my dad and grandma, here are some highlights;

• Finding out my dad has a new girlfriend in China (after his two previous attempts at engagement with Chinese women who turned out to be somewhat insane.) At least this one isn’t closer to my age than his.
• My grandma and dad’s religiousness and the awkwardness of my grandma asking me if my boyfriend cuddles me to keep me warm at night. Pretty sure it’s a way of torturing herself with the knowledge I am not saving my precious virtue for marriage.
• “What is a nerd anyway? Is it like a little elf?” said my grandma.
• The look on my dad’s face when he found out about his father cutting off his own gangrenous toe years ago.

I’ve come to realise that the reason that I didn’t study enough in high school was because of my lack of awesome stationary. How is one expected to study using just a plaid pencil case and Bic pens, huh? 
I was in Officeworks yesterday and it took a lot of strength not to scream “YES I DO NEED THOSE GIRAFFE-SHAPED RUBBER BANDS AND THE PEACOCK FEATHER MOUSE PAD!!!”
If I’d had pretty notebooks and pens with feathers on the end, things would have been a lot different.

Need a new job, preferably full-time. This is so boring though.
